We had posted a poem, that was stated "author
unknown" of a unique heartwarming slant. We have since found out the
author, after a 'not so nice' registered letter was received. Please
make sure to do a search to see if any poems you use - have an
author listed elsewhere prior to posting.
News! Sept. 2003 I wrote my own poem and published it on the

When I tithe, I cry tears of pain
When in church, a place to worship my
Lord,
in between the praying & hearing a
message unfold,
there is the collection of our
tithes.
10% given back, all servants of God
must do.
There are tears in submitting it, from
who.
It is not due to the lack of spendable
funds
that will be from paying this IOU ,
as I know God expects this of me, as our
stewardship of all, the Bible
schools.
Regularly as a collection plate was
filled,
an envelope,said "family" now that's
stilled.
Not knowing if any notice, I turn my
face,
as the eyes tear up then, although I know
my
husband is with God, and in a better
place.
For I miss my husband greatly here on
Earth
every day, and that is why I
cried.
When tithe is given, we are a family no
more,
as I can not say that since he died.
These tears will pass when my soul is free
also, once with our beloved Lord, I can be.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to
friends so kind
for showing love to us during
this diffucult time to me and mine.
God's
people are the greatest, church is the best,
and whether a church member or a guest,
all are made welcome and soon get the feeling
of being blest.
